What I liked

I liked that there were interns for each department, which gave all of us a chance to get to know everyone better, as well as sharing knowledge about each individual department. This also gave us a chance to collaborate and learn how to work together as a team. I also liked how everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone was there if you had any questions, and it was a pleasant and fun environment to work in.

What I wish was different

I wish that there were a better level of communication of what the expectations were as interns prior to when the internship started, and this resulted in much confusion and conflict at times. I also wish that there was more guidance as to what we were doing. Most of the time, we had to figure out how to do it on our own, especially when the group intern projects were presented to us.

Advice

Take it day by day, and always feel free to ask questions. Everyone was extremely friendly, and this was never an issue for me. Another piece of advice is even if this position doesn't align with your future goals, remember why you applied in the first place, and remember that you are building your reputation from every company that you work or intern at.
