Third World Newsreel Youth Media Internships

Third World Newsreel, a media arts organization that fosters the creation, appreciation and dissemination of independent film and video by and about people of color and social justice issues, is looking for interns as part of its Youth Media Internship Program. Third World Newsreel trains college and high school students in three areas of the media industry: 1) digital video post production, 2) film acquisitions, and 3) film distribution & marketing. We have a volunteer intern program with Berkeley College students and City-as-School high school students who get school credit for this activity. In addition, we have worked with interns from City College of NY, New York University and Ithaca College, among others. Some students also volunteer on production shoots for the organization and its Production Workshop. All interns may attend the TWN Evening Seminars series free of charge.
